Violet Blitz

Violet Blitz was a short-lived but unforgettable melodic rock band formed in Ängelholm between 2007 and 2009. With Erik on lead vocals, Axel and Patrik L on guitars, Kim on bass, and Simon behind the drums, the group carved out a raw and youthful energy that lived mostly within the rehearsal room and the nights that followed.

The band centered around Erik’s songwriting, creating tracks like Rockaway and Always—songs that captured both their ambition and the spirit of the era. Inspired heavily by Mötley Crüe, Violet Blitz carried the same mix of swagger, energy, and excess, turning rehearsals into full-on events that blurred the line between practice and party.

Although Violet Blitz never officially released any music, they poured countless hours into their sound and their bond. In just two years, Violet Blitz embodied the essence of what a rock band at its core is about: friendship, energy, loud riffs, and the dream of making music that mattered.
