Lucy In The Sky was a Swedish pop/rock band signed to Copenhagen’s Mermaid Records, produced by Danish hitmaker Rasmus Seebach. Fronted by lead singer Lucy, with Patrik on lead guitar, Marcus on drums, Oscar on rhythm guitar, and Axel on bass, the group blended members from diverse backgrounds—most of them alumni of Helsingborg’s Mega Musik school. Axel joined after a friend at Mega Musik introduced him to Patrik, leading to an audition. The band recorded several music videos and an album, gaining over 1.7 million views on YouTube. Despite plans for a world tour, mismanagement led to the album’s cancellation, and the band disbanded soon after.
